Mapping problem
hi guys, I Hope that someone can help me with this.I work with maya 5, When put a checker on it, it's doing this ****ing alpha ...
Maybe it's because i model the nose, the mouth and the form of the heah in nurbs and convert in poly after. I Hope u have a solution for me

have you tried cleaning up non-manifold geometry? It could also be the direction of your normals. Let us know how it goes...

Maybe you have to flip the normals.

I resolve my problem
That was complicated but i finally get a good result, Thx guys, i tried what u said but it wasn't the solution. At the beginning I deleted the uvs. after , when i tried to put a cylindrical mapping, one option was check "creat new UV set".
That was the ****ING PROBLEM !! I have worked 3 hours to repair this and it was just a little box to uncheck ...Thx again guys for your help and if u like follow my other post where i continue this head. Sorry for my english, but I try to do my best, I hope u understand
