ok this time i deleted all lights except the direct light with vray shadows (mult. 3.2, Area Shadows checked, Bias 0.2, UVW 15,15,15, Sphere checked, subdiv 10) - switched color mapping back to exponential, dark - 1, bright - 1... heres my params

ok i brightened the direct light multiplier from 3.2 to 12 - and under avd irradiance map params i changed from bucket mode to single frame
