alien droid thing...

just thought id see if i can get any good suggestions on improving this fella. bodyshape was kind of based on a Geiger style alien. lower pic is my attempt at texturing (only half done).
all polys / maya 4 software renderer.
(sorry about blurryness in the pics, i had to shrink them to fit under filesize limit)

Nice

Looks great.

I love the over all design.

Not much I can say on improving him. But no matter what theres always room for improvment.


But otherwise, great job. I like it.

this is really good and unique..but you may want to have the monkey in more of a bent over/crouched position..because monkeys dont stand straight up like humans. it looks nice though

anywho, I like it. If you're really going for a Geiger style, I'd say it still looks too mechanical and not enough organic influence- but it's pretty close

edit: on second look, I think you've got it just about right Perhaps the arms and the legs could use some tweaking though, like some more tubing in em or something.
