Help needed for Horse Animation using Bones
Hi friends,
Iam from India, Iam currently developing my show reel in 3DS Max6. I would like to know the techniques used to develop a horse animation using Bones. If any one of you know how to do it or refer me an online tutorial it will be greatful. Many Thanks -Murali |

If it was me i would rigg it to a biped standing on his hands as forelegs for the horse (that one should be obvious tough) then download some video of a moving horse and study the cycle. Then just animate it freeform using planted keys and piviots. Theres information on how it's done in the charachter studio reference guide under: help>additional helpl>charachter studio reference. Then just search for freeform.
But you are using bones so why am I talking about characther studio? Well it should apply somewhat anyway. |
