Talking Character: BB

A quick preview of my newest character, a small robot called "BB"

and a lo-res wireframe (C4D doesn't make it easy to capture these things )

Everything created in Cinema 4D XL 7.3. Enjoy!

Thanks! I'm glad you like him.

You know, it suddenly occurs to me that I should have posted this in the "inorganic" section. I think of him as a living creature, but he is made of metal and plastic. Perhaps a mod could move this thread when he/she has a moment....

I like it too. The design has real character. I especially like the pose you chose of him holding his foot, it adds a kind of innocent/cuteness

The only thing I noticed was that if you look at his eyes you can see the ground (green) reflected, but where is the sky (purple)?

I made the sky invisible for rendering purposes, since it washed out the little guy in a haze of purple reflections. It was a trade-off; next time I'll put him inside a real environment and avoid the whole problem...

By the by, I've finally figured out how to render the wireframe view. I've updated the image above. Enjoy!

Exclamation Sweet!!

Cool robot..... I just think his pose is a bit stiff, add a small bend at the joints in his arms and legs just to add a bit more character and flow to the pose.

keep up the good work!
