No replays? I sent this images to cgtalk as well and I had a little responce too.And I was told that most of the 3D guys don't take Zbrush seriously- the reason for getting no replays. Would be your responce different if I'd have told you that it's done with Maya or Max. Or the image is grap?

i have nothing agains zbrush. i don't even know, how it works. whatever...
all i can tell you about this creature is that his anatomy must be completely weird and his face looks kinda dumb without a noticeable upper lip. but the details are nice. *checking now, how zbrush works...*

Not sure what to say, other than that is one weird looking creature
and the only thing that I like about it, is the way you made his whole back, the anatomy makes no sense to me![]()

vlad74 - Z-brush, Poser, Bryce, Vue all get looked down at because people don't consider them art tools. because you mainly just click click and u have a scene..
I think an artist should NOT be judged by what he uses but by HOW he uses it ( his / her creativity ).. Overall very nice character, very spooky!!. I like the details on his back.. are you going to animate him?

thanks for the replys guys.
DarkLimit - ZBrush is complitely different tool. It can't be compered to Poser, Bryce, Vue. There is nothing in common between them. Every fold of skin, every bone and muscle of this crearure is done by my hand not by ZBrush. I don't know what you ment by "click click and u have a scene" .You can't say this about ZBrush. ZB is 100 times more artistic and natural tool than Max, Maya etc(I am Maya user). I suggest you to download the demo and try it. You won't regret it(or see some videos). Thank you for the comment.p.s. I'am not going to animate because it's part of static scene. It's topology is not good for animation. |

i dont know what the hell your on about, zbrush isnt looked down on ????
weta digital used it fro ROTK , i dont think theyd use poser/vue/bryce. zbrush is a quality program , the reason you got no replies , is becuase here many ppl dont understand what the program is about or that it still takes skil to make qaulity images, your character is ok , but i think the design is quite on the spot'. doest hold up at all. your skill in the program though is good,. and keep postign , becuase im interested. *now i wait for z2 copy *
