Just started work on this, doing the head is weird, just having one eye kinda throws me. If anybody's got any cool pics of Fantasy swords (FFVII,Soul Edge) that would be a help this guys going to carry a massive word.

I know there's not much to look at here, trying to get the head built, I'll maybe post that up in a bit.

Okay here's a proper render of what i've got so far. Spent more time on the back adding spikes and hair band, so upper torso is comlete, still need to work on arms. Detailed legs. I think the legs look a little too square at the mo and the way i've layed them I think my character looks bow legged. Don't know what to do with them either, was thinking about leather pants. I am going to use sasquatch for hair so I thought maybe a fur cloth over the groin might be cool. Crits welcome

Been away for a couple of days trying to sort this out, but now I need your help because I don't know what is wrong. Technically there shouldn't be anything wrong and 'cause I don't know what's up I think I'm about to throw this machine out my window. Anyway the problem is this. I have applied uv maps to the torso, head and arms. There is a crumple procedural on the head and torso which works fine, but when I applied it to the arms nothing happens, I put a uvbump on the arms as well to get veins and that doesn't work either. The only time I saw any bump on the arms is when I whacked it up to 9000%! (i was getting annoyed.) I have tried switching the bumps on and off but no difference. The same procedural should be able to be applied to all surfaces and it should have the same effect but for some reason it is just not working. Any clues please?

It's okay I fixed it myself, it needed a specularity image applied to it, before the bump would show up. I am using G2, just to see what kind of stuff you can do with it. I can only assume that it is the G2 that's making the problem. Has anybody else used G2. It looks like you can do cool things with it?

Another update if anybody is watching. Started to put some textures on, sorry that the lighting is a bit dark. Somebody must have an opinion now that things are starting to take shape, even if you don't like it you have to tell me. I had a look at those leg muscles and rounded them out a bit more, (decided to go for the pants.)
