RTS And MMORPG with Relation to fun and 3D
Yah, I'm just getting the topic started because I need a place to think about this- and what better lounge than 3DT?
I'm looking into good RTS games, and I find that SC2 is becoming more than a rumor in the gaming underground. Why won't Blizzard just anounce it already and come out with possibly the greatest game of all time? SC was fantastic, and if SC2 could just get 100% of Bliz' funding, then everything will be fine. As for MMORPGs, I'm wondering what the next big thing will be. I'm browsing boards here and there, and it seems that games either have good graphics, good gameplay, or good amenities. Why can't someone just make a good game that has all these great things? Something with eye candy, and special effects that really taxes my system. Something with meaningful and profitable quests and a variable gameplay environment where I an solo or team up if I want. Something that...is fun to play and get involved in without having to worry about the leveling treadmill. Ugh. Anyone elses thoughts on this? Sorry I didn't spell check btw
