My favorite Ferrari
. This is my second try for a car i hope it is beter now ![]() I like the paintjob and my modelling but my shadows are not so good. Can anybody tell me how I get nice shadows?? Here is a wireframe for the ones who like that :P ![]() Last edited by Mark; 01-05-2004 at 04:30 AM.. |

sweet! very clean
if you post your settings as well as application it will be easier to help. But in the meanwhile look for settings such as rays or samples ...maybe I don't know for sure

Very nice model, Mark. And a clean mesh, too.
As for the shadows: I use brazil sometimes and never get ugly patchy shadows like that. It may be because you have a blueprint on top of the brazil ground plane. Try rendering without the blueprint planes and you should get nice fuzzy, delicious shadows... shadows have taste. Unless you want shadows which actually look like a shadow of the car. Then you should be something like a spotlight or omni in. |

If you're using brazil what fixes the shadows is in the Luma Server part and its called like viewrate or something. The value should be set at 15 default. I change mine to 30 and it usually comes out fine
