I really like that section render. It looks very well lit, with some more details I think you could have a very nice looking engine. Perhaps some rivits would be a good way to detail it up without a whole lot of extra work.

I love it!
I've always liked technical looking models anyway. Is it just personal work or 'work' work?Des |

Looks good. The fan looks like it is on backwards. Where is the intake for the compressor?

Very good modeling, however it doesn't look like the engine would work. Rick is right, there is no intake for the second stage compressor and combustion chamber. Here is link with a few cutaways of diferent engines
http://www.epower-propulsion.com/epo...asTurbines.htm And here is section drawing of CFM-56 engine which resembles yours. Happy modeling ![]()

Thanks a lot,
Yeah I have not finish yet, lot of work again, I use 3dsmax to do this. In this vue I put in red what I think is for intake compressor, and the arrows in yellow are the way of compressed air. I not realise yet the injecteur (in french !), and the rivits But I do them one day, promess. thanks!!! |
