I had a LAN at my house last night and we only pulled like 10-12 hours of gaming. It's sad, we have'nt been able to go 16+ hours like we used too. I blame it on not haveing really good new games. I can guarentee that if HL2 was out right now or oct 30 2k3 for that matter that gaming in general would be way better. On the other hand if what they say is true, then this long wait will turn out better for us in the end, we'll get an even better game. So what are your thoughts will HL2 be worth the wait? or should they have released it in April?

Downup, your always the odd guy in the group. Whenever the majority likes something (hl2/cs) you dislike it....is that intentional or are you trying to proove something
But you may have a point on this one.......battlefield looks really good but the game physics, ai, and extra graphics will leave it behind for miles. Whats bothering me isn't that its taking hl2 so long to put on the market, im worried about the ppl raising their expectations for the game now that it has been delayed for so long. When it comes out maybe people's expectation will be so high that they won't think hl2 is good. That would really suck for the creators because 5 years goes streight in the garbage Hope it doesn't come to that. |

and those players are probably like 10 years old........i found out about cs 1 year ago.........bout 4 years after it was made and I knew.
But ya, I like games that are really challenging. Remember hitman1? omg I loved that game sooo much(and still do) Basically i loved it for the obvious reasons but one thing that stood out was how hard it was. I mean think of it, its hard to kill someone and there are many ways of doing it......thats why i likes it so much. You'd really have to think up a stratagy to take out the least amount of guards and still do the mission. I was stuck on level 3 (i think it was level 3) for the LONGEST time. I just kept doing it over and over and never got bored........becaue it simulated like a real hitman. Then when hitman2 (which i still really like) came out you can go on an insane shooting spree and still complete the level Everybody was complaining that they couldn't save in the game and it was too hard......i believe it was rated mature and guess who was complaining.........yup, the little kids Thats why I can't wait until they make real games for adults.....much like hitman 1 were you really have to create a stratagy of your own and execute it in the most logical way. Thats what games should be about......developing the mind. What do you guys think?? |
