This is not the right thread to talk about U.S. or political stuff.
please try to obey the rules of this Forum! If you wish to 'talk' about U.S. military forces and their political decisions start a new thread and gather some people who WANT to hear your words and myabe reply you.Stop saying this stuff in here...or at least try to be polite with the ideas of other people. As regarding music: I've recently downloaded Thw Mill Showreel and the music included in that video was of Prokofiev....one of my favourite artist!! Bach...A friend of mine, who plays piano and violin (and she's actually attending to one of hte most famous music school in italy...Conservatorio of Perugia...)said that Bach pieces are a way too simple to play...or at least their 'melody' is not so sophisticated...do you agree with my friend or not?(just to satisfy my own curiosity)...

John Silver, spare us your biased "comments". This is music we're talking here. If you really wish to contribute to this thread please focus on the subject.
Ah, classical music. I could name about 500 great classical pieces, but how tedious. So let's stick to a few: - Liebestodt from Tristan and Isolda by Wagner - Jeux D'Eau a Villa D'Este by Liszt - the whole Gayaneh Suite by Khatchaturian (not just the Sabre Dance) - Iberia Suite by Albeniz - Antiche Arie e Danze by Respighi - Boris Godunov by Mussorgsky Bach - i have to wait more 20 years until i can fully appreciate Bach. And played by Glenn Gould. |

I really like slave marche by Tchaklskuy, can't spell his name so I'm not even going to try. I also like flight of the valkrie by wagner, and moonlight sonata by beethoven. I think I may have made more spelling errors. Anyway i also like TOOL because it kind've gives metal a classical like feel to it. The way they transition and do things really reminds of classical music. You know like slow parts fast parts and a lot of melody.

I, personally, am not too fond of classical music, with excepptions like "ride of the valk" by wagner or the Sanfrancisco Orchestra playing with Metallica for the S&M album... I know S&M doesn't really count. But i got nothing against classical music. Actually I think I might download some of what you guys have said was good and give a try.

I dunno much about classical music but I listen to it and some of my favorites are:
1. Claude Debussy's Girl with the Flaxen Hair (La Fille aux Cheveux de Lin) 2. Tchaikovsky's Barcarolle (from Les Saisons.. I think) 3. Chopin's Etude op. 10-12 "Revolutionary" 4. Vivaldi's Concerto for 2 Violins and Cello (D Minor) I like a lot of tango music too.. like Por Una Cabeza and others... |

Hi, I cant put a name to most of the classical music I've heard but I'd like to add a musical score to my demo reel.
Does anyone know where on the net I can easily download classical music for free without having to trapse around the net for hours? A little off topic but a reply would be much appreciated.
