[Simulation] Apple-Crashtest (highspeed imaging)

Hi there,

this is a snapshot form a animation i made 2 years ago in my early 3D carrieer. Tell me what you think about it.

Haha verry cool, you should do that with heads though

But i think when you put a bullet trough an apple it doesn't leave that mutch mess i think it goes straight trough it with a bit of peaces comming off when it shoots out. But never seen somebody shooting on apples

Good job though

looks great man, only crit i have is that when the bullet exits the apple the cracks on the skin from the hole look a bit sudden at one point. I really liek ti though

Cool pic . I agree with sarN's comment about the cracks, but it's cool nonetheless.

i used those pictures for the simulation as reference base...
this was one of my first larger projects i performed in maya.

and the clou is: in slow motion you learn how to animate realistic dynamic motion.

because slow motion makes reactions visible, that are usualli overseen in realtime... hihi

this way i would recommend everybody who wanna be a good animator.

@rodrigo:
i used Maya for the scene and realflow for the fruit marrow
supported by maya particles to make the blast like the pictures posted by steven.

rendering was made in maya raytracer
