The engines are waaay to big, IMO; half the size would look much better.

Dragsters have big engines even in outerspace

The model looks fine. Your concept is VERY simple so its hard to gauge exactly where your going with the model.

Opinion:

I'd stay away from the streamlined outerspace model. It just screams 5-10 years ago. If your gonna go that route make your ship have some serious flare and character, to stand out and be original. Put some more detail into that concept then start modeling.

Basically you've modeled your concept sketch so I ask you, where do you go from there?

I´ve made some modifications...

As i said before i am starting to learn Maya so what i´m going to do is to develope the design till i´m satisfied with the result and then start again and model without any mistakes because i´m making the details on the whole mesh, not on one half (and after the symetry)...

Coments please

Excuse my bad english...i´m from Spain

did you decrease the width of the 'tail'? if yes, i don't like it... i prefer the 'tail' of the last picture... and try to make more improvements before post an update (a suggestion)...

keep us updated

My friends say the same about the tail but i´m going to keep the tail as it is now because i want to do different versions of the ship but always saving the same base like the ships in Star Trek...(Enterprise,Voyager,etc.)

So this model is going to be the start for a "design line"....

Thanks for this comments and please post more,so we can learn all day to day
