the crouchung guy reminds me of squish from "calahan's cross-time saloon". anyone, other than me, play that? good adventure game. good puzzles.

Not Giger but more like Max Ernst from the Surrealist school, in the design of the wispy "branches" and the "collage"aspect of the characters.
