Lip synching in max5?
I was just wondering what the best method is to set up a character for lip synching?
Would it be poly modelling? Patch modelling? I've had a go at it with patches but find it a bit tedious Also, can anyone point me in the direction of any good lip synching tuts? Thanks ![]()

Personally i use the morpher modifier, clone the head of the character that you want to move phsyically..then take that cloned head and move around the vertices to the new facial expression that you want, click on the original head, add the morpher modifier, go down to pick a scene, right click, and then choose the new cloned head that you just played with, and once thats set, you can drag the cycle button up and down, and anything in between your original facial structure, and the one created with move..
i hope you understand that..that's just the way i do it mostly..
