With our first 3 CDs we made them as a collection of jpeg textures for all software packages. When we came to produce some renders to promote them, the package we use here in the studio is 3DStudio Max so we quickly loaded them into a Max library and started to make some renders. We then thought why not add this library file onto the CD as a small bonus to the Max users to save them a bit of time, good idea you might think . .unfortunately not, many complaints such as yours followed, so many in fact, that all collections v4,v5,v6,v7 have no pre-made library files for any software and just just the jpeg and tif files that work with all software. There are of course many bonuses on all the CDs still but they have no software bias.
All CDs have been used with all 3D packages as you can see in the project overviews section here http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials...soverviews.asp Thanks Tom Greenway |
