Lightbulb Greek Masks

here is my new project ..a greek mask.
the project is about creating the two typical greek masks of the ancient greek theatre. So there will be two masks, the first one will have a 'happy' expression...you know the big smile and the other one will have a sad expression....(just type greek masks on google pic search). So i'm looking for 'serious' crits
this is just the first step (a couple of hours of modelling into maya)....tho i have a lot of work to do on that....

You ain't got any reply yet so I'll be the first...

With the first look at your model I find the face to narrow for a typical head/mask. You should try to stretch it more into the width.

Your mesh could also need some fine-tuning. I see unnecessary lines here and there and the overall meshflow is not optimal - especially around the mouth and the nose. There are some examples for good meshflows in the forum... for example kuman's samurai or yakuza_boss and his cyber female

...about the narrowness of the face i think your right...i scale it a little bit now...
about the meshflow....i actually took care about edgeloops and all of those stuff....maybe is the persp view which don't let you see the mesh clearly...
a close up of the upper part of the nose.

Not many replys to your masks yet? Well, I agree that the lines need to flow better in the mesh. Its a nice render, is the silk under the mask 3d as well? Anyhow, its a nice pice, but try stretching the masks a bit wider, atleast around the upper jaw area. If I were to where this mask it wouldn't cover nearly enough of my face. Keep up the good work though, I really like it.
