Animation: My treasure, Critique

This were my second animation with a little character like an alien. He speaks in spanish, but he say "my treasure, my treasure.... ñañañaña..." He hates gollum xDDD I use 3Ds Max with Brazil and some AfterFX

The animation is overall floaty and there isn't any motivation for the dialogue.

Why does his eyelid expand and contract in the first second? Why does he blink twice soon after? There isn't a large change of focus for the eye so it's unnecessary. His finger floats up and down on the hand thats moving around the table. The hand moves through the table a few times. When he starts the dialogue he comes up alert and then says the line, and it looks like he's talking to somebody off camera but the line indicates that he's talking to himself. Perhaps he should look directly up, or dart his eyes around instead of focusing to the right. And why does he become alert? The nananana part is ok. Why does he do the "ba" noise in the end? If it's just a noise of frustration, maybe he should start looking down when he's saying it, instead of again focusing off to the right.

Overall, I think you should work on your posing and the motivation for it. Why is he saying it and what is he thinking when he is... Try to act it out a few times and get the best actions for the feeling you're trying to convey.

oh thanks, this little alien can´t perform xDD All that things that you said make me to think about all actuation of the alien, and the next time that I animate a character i wish that i could do it better. The alien is thinking that he hates Gollum, and he says "my treasure, my treasure" like gollum, despising him.
