My Rocket Goes Vroom
Yea I'm 5 again lol anyways this is my first real animation and its of a model rocket being launched I know there is no backround but the grass would have been a lot of polies so it woulda been slow render times which it was bad enough as it was. http://home.comcast.net/~bobjoe727/MyRocket.mov should play in browser does for me at least and requires quicktime I think.

Hi MattyG
I am not much of an animator so I can just comment on what I see and not get technical. I think you need to put in a gruong plane with a horison so the viewer can see where he (camera) is in 3d space. If you have a side on of the rocket at 1m and at 100 m it looks the same now. On the second pan up, the camera could be further away to show the rocket reaching the apex of its travel from more of a distance. Have fun. ![]()
