I wonder if I'm the only one who's noticed a distinct likeness between Otacon's gyroscope modelled in Lightwave and this one for sale on Turbosquid from December 2002 ?
http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPrevie...n/FullPreview. If I believed in coincidences I'd say it was a miracle ![]() Andy |

Now now Andy, I even own a gyroscope that looks exactly like that and have never seen that one from TurboSquid. The star figure thing is fairly popular, not to mention that I thought the design didn't have to be original.
Anyways, any idea what the next topic will be? As I can't get a decent gyro going. |

going of on a tangent....
Deep in the bowels of some great big submarine or something, keeping it upright... a bit random.
45mins modeling time, Maya 5 and Freehand. ![]() And a shabby render after another 5 mins fixing the geometry, so itd work... hopefully it makes it make a little more sense! :-) Tom Last edited by Tom C; 21-06-2004 at 03:51 AM.. |

Well the modelling process took about 40 min. plus posing and textures on 10 min.
I believe it's such a non-relevant time that I dare post it here. Made in 3dmax. ![]() |
