Junior Graphics Artist Wanted

Jagex Ltd, Cambridge based developer and publisher of the online game RuneScape (www.runescape.com), seeks an energetic person to join us immediately in the role of Junior Graphics Artist.

MUST BE ABLE TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK

Required Skills

- 3D CGI – Should have a basic understanding of modelling, rigging, animation, lighting and rendering. Software unimportant, as will be using in-house tools.

- 2D CGI – Should have knowledge of paintshop 5 or above or similar paint package.

- Traditional Art & Design skills – Should have good drawing and other basic art and design skills. Ideally degree in Art & design related course.

The successful candidate must be capable of creating low-polygon models and working within limitations and to tight deadlines. Candidates must provide a CV and examples of previous work, and be willing to learn our in-house methodologies.
