During last week, the Mundos Digitales Festival was held in Corunna, Spain, with some exclusive releases.

Paul Devebec (the HDRI guru) show us his latest amazing video of the Parthenon, full scanned in 3D, and with a correct lighting. The photorealistic video was rendered using Arnold, and it joints the original building with the front sculptures hold in the British Museum in London, so, we can see how it should look the full parthenon, digitally iluminated, on the Olimpic Year of Athens.

Also, Pixar show us the short film "Boundin", that will be released with The Incredibles all across the world, just for the people in Mundos Digitales.

During the festival, we could see some conferences about spherical harmonics, and some presentations from Digital Domain, framestore, weta, Dygra films, PDI, Pixar and many others, in 5 intensive days.

Hi all!
Great notice from the main section of 3Dtotal about industry news: 'One of the world's greatest architectural achievements, The Parthenon, got a 3D reconstruction by Dr. Paul Debevec, with the results poured into a 150 second short film'.
This film we saw one month ago, at "Mundos Digitales" Festival (Spain), it was amazing.
