[Aircraft] Concorde WIP

Hi there!

I've been reading this forum for quite a long time now, dying almost everytime I see your models and renderings!

I just notice that there isn't so much aircrafts.

So, here's some of my pictures.
I'm currently working on a Concorde model, after playing with an Airbus A340-600 model.

First, a picture I made in memory of those who died four years ago in Gonesse, France.

Second, some test renderings...

Hope you'll enjoy it!

yeah, quite a fine piece of work - i really like it! The engines seem way too dark in the first rendering but alas.... You managed to create a good mood in there

greetings,
wave

Yes, me too like it, but it is in the wrong section, you should put is to the final completed 3d artwork. This is finished, I think...

Thanks guys!

Actually, I consider it W.I.P cause a lot of texture work is still to be done.
For example, for wings and fuselage, I have diffuse, specular, reflection, bump and displacement maps.

Gear legs are only basic material (no maps at all) and need some more realistic look.

Wave : I agree, the engines look dark. Maybe I should lighten the base diffuse texture, or increase the reflection rate of the surfaces...

He probably means that as a general rule, using CAPITAL letters is considered to be SHOUTING in (inter)netiquette. Meaning that for other people it feels rude. I am sure you had not that intention, but it does make it much more difficult to read the post. Flush it down the toilet was merely a metaphor for: don't use it anymore.

At least that's what I think...Chris?

no, not a metaphor, i meant pretty precisely rip the key out of your keyboard and flush it down the toilet

shdowmaker explained the problem pretty well.

Hehe, How I missed Chris cool kind of being

Well, but how about a Back to T.o.p.i.c.?

The Concorde looks really good, and as I see it you don't have to die as you see others pics, your skills seem to be too good for this

But how about an update?
