Hello folks,
Thought i'd finally have a go at this. Maybe the most daring, outlandish, bedazzling design of the Golden Years. I have always been in love with this car. In fact i was born in that model year.
I've been wanting to model it for quite a long time. Tried a few times but couldn't figure out those crazy batwings.
Still a long way ahead but it's laid out.
C&c warmly welcome.

aaaa the memories.

Dad used to park backwards at the drive in theater in our 59 wagon so us kids could set on the tailgate and watch the movies. Took a few years to figure out what him and mom were really up to.

I'd love to see that awsome Chevy red interior on this one.

Kujoe:
It's complex but i am cruisin' through it. (-;

Magliano:
Thanks, but i'm afraid i can't model so many. A few though...

Wyatt:
They are all polymodeled. The Impala took an afternoon to get to that point. As for classics, well, anything on 4 wheels that's flashy and at least 50yrs old catches my fancy. I did give one the hotrod treatment but customizing is not my cup of tea. I like them stock as they come. The result can be found here

Ron:
Fond memories. Was it a Nomad? Parkwood? Brookwood? I saw a Parkwood for sale at Ebay this week. Frame-off job, real nice. Dear money too.
As for the interior i am still fiddling with color schemes. I'd like this one to be two-tone and interior will be color-keyed with the outside.

A bit of an upgrade. Will get back to it on Monday. Happy weekend to all.

That car paint ^ looks awesome. I think the pictures died? Even when I right click-> show image they come up blank, but I'm sure it looks fantastic anyway...

Thanks, updates as promised, textured in Aspen Green/Classic Cream, a very common scheme on the Sport Sedan. The curves look hard to model but they are deceptively simple.
