I agree with Downup plus Ill add some more. I think you should also give it that nice tan look that old pictures have added with the flim grain, PLUS..lol...maybe have rips/tears in the photo to give more to the effect. Right now it looks ok as black and white but it doesnt quite look like how a black and white photo should look. Meaning it seems to clean and fake I guess you could say. So maybe with those effects added it could proabably add more dimension to your render. Nice modeling.

Look good, the only thing I been thinking off is that the train seem to be in the middle of that "window" still only 50% of the bars is pushed outwards.

Wow, great!
I actually saw the picture in a Quebec restaurant, in Joliette if I remember well. The real pic I talking about was taken from the other side, and I thought it was in St-Lazare Station, Paris.

Thanks everyone, I did think about putting a filmgrain on it and tearing it up a little bit, but my main concern was the 3D work. I didn’t want to spend too long on the image because im trying to get put a 3D portfolio together so as I can get a job in the industry. At the moment I do flash, photoshop and web stuff. Really want to get into 3D In a big way. I know my texturing isn’t up to the same level as my other 3D abilities, any ideas where I can get some advanced texturing tutorials, videos or books?? I have digital texturing and painting, just about to start reading it but would also like something more hands on. Plus any ideas on what type of stuff I should be doing? High poly, low poly? Cars?
Thanks again everyone, any info would be greatly appreciated
