Nice scene. Only the flower (we call it fern) looks like it start to fade. I think the fern need to be more fresh green.

I think this scene is amazing. It gives this peaceful feeling. I makes me think of coming home from a hard days work and just sitting and relaxing in that comfortable chair. I love the art on the wall.

Keep up the great work.

I like this rendition of the image, I have seen the first one you did with day lighting
However, and I'm going to be tough because I know you can take it...

1: bump mapping on the wall looks to large and pretty low res
2: perspective on the hill out side looks off.. It makes the image look as though the room is sliding down a hill
3: the fern is just not cutting it for me... you can easily see that its just an alpha map :/ really takes away from the "real" factor your going for here. I say model a fern, if its going to be in the foreground like that, or leave it out...

The atmosphere is lovely though, I like the lighting, and yes I am also drawn in to the chair... Its a very clean image.. almost to clean, but I think that is the point, its not really supposed to be about what is there or isn't there, its about the mood that it creates for the viewer

Thanks for the comments guys.
Your right USED.....the fern is just some primitives with a diffuse and opacity map applied....I cheated on that one
But it meant to be very clean.....something orderly would convey calmness, that was my intention anyway
The bump is meant to be that rough.....it`s a certain plaster style.....where they lay the plaster on thickly and just lightly rub over it....to give a rough random texture.
The enviroment map could be better yes.....but I didn`t want to go the way of blinds or curtains....I wanted an open feeling to the picture.
As for the lack of green on the fern.....I always desaturate my pictures....it was greener in the render before edits.
