So you think you're tough? Well test your skills against the "Bruiser Smack Monkey". Made with the hard core brawler in mind, The Bruiser is anything but soft. This Smack Monkey is guaranteed to be the victor of at least 50% of it's fights. If you're not bruised then you didn't fight "The Bruiser". This Bruiser is not suitable for children, Monkeys Unlimited is not responsible for any damage, dismemberment, or death cased by this or any Smack Monkey product. Proof of valid life insurance policy is required to purchase The Bruiser.

I tried to concentrate on the face a little more for this one.

1 hour in 3DS Max for modeling
40 minutes for materials, rendering, post and writing

Thanks,
I tried that, but now I figures out that this works using the scanline renderer, however when Brazil is selected it's not possible. (I Think)
Is there also a way to combine a wire with a normal clay_grey shading? I also see people post renderings like that. (Like in this smack monkey pic above)

actually I just did a screen cap (press print screen then paste into a new pic in photoshop).

In Max you can get your shaded view to show the wire by pressing F4 or by right clicking on the viewport lable and choosing "edged faces" F3 will toggle between shaded and wireframe modes. Very handy when modelling, especialy organic models.

I had a problem.
I finished completely modelling my character, and I went to my room to take the camera to make a photo to post here. But when I came back here I saw something happened to my character .... I post here what remained of it. Anyway, I think it is still a biped, don't you think?

Modelled and rendered in Blender 2.34
Modelling time: about 50 minutes.

This "beeped"'s name is Ninha. He is wearing long knife gloves and pretends to be a tough assassin. The truth is, while he is well build and has 8 dull knifes in his hands he is just going to his favorite tavern for a steak (and no, he was not involved with elGordo's character's case). He's just hungry and saves his teeth (cuts food into small pieces before consuming).'
Not related to Golden Mask beeped. Would like to beep Golden Mask up.

Zb, imported to 3dmax for render.

Im sure none of u really wanted to hear that, but i was proud of this one.

Software: 3d Studio Max 6

Modeling: every single second of the 60 mins

Texturing: about 30 mins.
Rendering: 1 second

His name is Ci'ireg. He is 3 ft 2 inches tall. Extremly agile and fast.
He belongs to an ancient race called the Targats, forest dwelling night creatures.

Since his early childhood he has been trained to be a ranger and hunter. Which means he is able to track down the smallest creature and hunt the more dangerous ones. With his magic cloak he is able to blend in with his surroundings.

Life at the moment is peaceful, however a rival tribe planning to take over his village may change this....

Hello, i'm pretty new to 3d. it took me an hour to finish this model using wings 3D.

Toothy's biggest hobby is brushing his teeth. After a few months, he becomes millionaire because he is in every toothpaste commercial......

what an interesting story ;p

The final Smack Monkey.

"The Chauvinist" is the most popular Smack Monkey and is shipped all over the world. Put through a grueling test process every Chauvinist Smack Monkey is gauranteed to last through any training session, even week long seminars on how to deliver groin strikes with focused power. Similar to "The Bully" Smack Monkey, "The Chauvinist" is programed with a variety of realistic taunts and phrases, including favorites like "hey baby get me a beer", "are you kidding? that's women's work", and "me, me, me, me, me, me, me". The chauvinist is available for rental for weekend, women's, self defence seminars.

40 minutes to model in 3DS max
10 minutes to texture and render

That's all my entries for this week. Great work everyone I especially liked webwolfs Mike, and Marvin the martian, great characters and nice models. Good luck to all

everyone please pay attention! i present you: PON! it seems like PON is the last survivor of the 'Portos Assault'. I dont think i have to explain what that is, since it is the most famous war ever. PON is a male from the GRONG species. As everybody knows (at least, every1 who did primary school) GRONG's are born in pieces. PON was just being put together when the Portos Assault began. Thats why he havent got any arms. Some scientists, say this story isnt the realy story about PON's Live. Altough PON, is telling his own history like this, the scientists believe PON got no arms, since he is modeled by a newbie modeler who couldnt make a PON with arms in 60 minutes... These scientists also expect the modeler had a very funny head, because of the expression on PON's Face. The modeler self, says its not his head thats funny, but the viewers of the threedy forums heads... so the story about PON's and the GRONG species, is still a mystery in some ways...

model time - 60 minutes
texturing and lights - 3 minutes
rendering - 45 seconds

Meet Bryan The Buccaneer, The Scourge of the Severn Trent Water Authority.
A humble cookery teacher on weekdays, Bryan lives for the weekends, when he can don his Pirate gear and set sail upon the Severn Rivers....
Actually you are more likely to see him sailing down the River Trent in his inflatable rubber dinghy shouting " Shiver Me Timbers " to all the bemused looking fishermen lining the banks.
Bryan has unfortunatly never married, maybe this is due to his second love-- Pickled eggs!!!, which he heartily consumes each evening at som remote riverside tavern, whilst pondering his treasure trove of old bicycles and shopping trolleys, and of course enjoying the delights of a few tots of the old rum..

modelled in 3d Max in the full 60 minutes.
Textured with Photoshop in 90 minutes
Rendered with default scanline and one skylight in 13:52 minutes.
