Sonic bike_ prototype

Hi . This is something that I have been working on in the last month . The first render took me about 6 hour to render the second one about 4 . It was rendered in mental ray .

I wanted to do something diffrent with this one . The biker is sitting in the cabine with legs infront possition . The backwheel has a pneumatic system which flattens the back tire for better stabilization while standing . The back tire has special mechanical drive . The whole bike is designed for high speed that's why I made the back wheel larger for better grip on road . Also I wanted to achive a very dynamic looking bike which is highly aerodynamical .

Nice concept man, you really have made a cool bike you know! love this model. nice render too, btw. materials looks nice to me! cant find anything to crit. altough the place where the driver is gonna be, looks kinda small to me, but it may be just me seeing things...but i cant really find a place where the legs should go... but anywayz, nice man!!!

o yeah, to answer your question, inspired, the "legs" are part of the wheel, they just come down to support the bike when it is not in motion, am i correct?

Flawless. Absolutely flawless.
One of the best: Brilliantly designed, keenly executed, and delightfully rendered with intelligent textures. Your geometry is amazing.

Thanx guys for the feedback . I really apriciate it .

-Xtreme : I agree about the headlights .The bump is to strong on glass so it is not much transparent . I noticed that after 5 hours of rendering , and I didn't want to start again with rendering )) . Akira was one of my inspirations for this bike , also the bike from wonderful days .

-Sinbad: Sure man here are the wireframes .

-K-Walk Studios: I draw it first on paper and did the blueprints for it before going into model production . The whole idea is mine.

-inspired: Thanx man .Actualy the biker has legs bettween the main control console , it is just enough space for his legs . It is not that visable form this angle .

-neiy0 : Yeah I noticed that I put it in the wrong forum .If any of moderators reads this , could you please transfer this thread to a finished section I hate to spam the forum with same model all over the place . Thanx. . Thanx for the 5 stars dude . Basicly the whole backtire has those pneumatic cylindrical system , so no matter how the back wheel is turned it will always open the back tire when standing .

I think insperd means the legs on the biker, not the pneumatic tyre system, and I have to agree. Love the concept but have you tried fitting a character in there. judging by the distance from the seat to the handle bars which kinda gives the proportions for arm length, I don't see where his legs are gonna go. I could be wrong!

Also from a design point of view (form follows function and all that) you wouldn't want to hit too big a bump with that front wheel or it would smash through the head light.

I am being really picky, mainly out of jealousy, I think it looks amazing.
Quality.

DOH!!! Just read some more of this thread. It seems you have answered inspired and my questions already. SORRY!!
(I would still like to see a render with a biker in it though )

What hapened to the discs on the front btw. I can see them in the wire but not the final render?

yeah i agree with doofus about the minimal amount of leg room.. i understand that you explained where the legs go, and that there is just the right amount of room, buuut, why don't u just stick a biped or something in, so that we can see, and so that we stop hastling you
