I think what makes the bar stools and high table look a little out of place (besides not being something you typically find in a living room) is that they are the focal point of your composition, and the contrast between them and the rest of the furniture makes them look out of scale, even if the size is technically correct. It's a perception thing, imo.

The render is dark, but the light seems nicely balanced; you only need to bring it up a little.

Very, very nice and realistic; However, your carpet looks like gelatine

good work

however, architectonically speaking ... it's a little bit confuse!

you need another light source: natural or artificial, on the rightside!

and maybe the zebra texture need thickness, bump

after all it'is you first job: good! You will improve your skills soon!

way cool indeed

the only critics i have, is concerning the cough.. it looks a little sharp on the edge, whats up with that? and yes, the tiger skin is just too perfict, rotate it a little and try to make sipples (wrinkes or whatever) on it.. the lightning is just perfict
u almost redid the whole scene, didnt u?

one last thing, id love to see a good quality pic that last one looks like 16bit
