How many people are mid year? here its end of year exams now then FREEDOM! for 11ish weeks.

No actually i just started school. We are perhaps mid-semester, but definately not close to our vacation time.

grade 11 here in canada (1 more year to go) and we just started in september, its going by pretty fast, which i like, and my grades are actually really good

So i am happy, and YES i am in HIgh school, and after that, i head off to college to live ot my dream to be apart of the game industry, my tag will read "Jason Lavoie, modeler Extrodinare"

I want nothing more then to be able to go to school.

Unfortunatly I made some mistakes when I was younger I made some mistakes and now I cannot get any funding or help to get into a school, and sure as hell cannot afford to pay for it.

Keep up the good work guys and for you younger ones, keep your damn head on the right direction and get your degree/diploma and do good things with your life. Otherwise you will end up 28 and living with your parents and jobless doing odd computer and internet work.

im Year 11, 2 more years of school (this ones over pretty much) and freedom! which means a job. or uni and a loan that will cripple my paychecks for the next gazillion years

btw here year 13 is final year but you can leave in/after year 12 if you go mad and do an apprenticeship or join the airforce or something.

and since Helen Clark has been removing all the weapons off of our planes i think uni is probably the answer

If I want to be a computer graphic i need to learn for next 6 years(2 y. of-grammar school\college-depents how do you call it, and 4 years of highschool)

wow and ur profile says that your older than me too

next year should be interesting im doing graphics, photography and print design (which is a uni level course). and the usual stuff like eng mat sci (physics).

hehe a while ago i got to go to a focus group at a university about a new 4 year course on all kinds of design but it focused on 3d animation. i suggested that the end of course/assesment works were submitted as reels

.

so if you ever come to auckland and go on a course like that in the near future u have me partially to thank for it
