How to choose texture size?
I still haven't figured this out, i have most of my Beowulf model unwraped (just need to do the head) and I still can't figure out how to chnage the texture size.
I want to test what it looks like etc, and I did, but it was nasty ass strtch big time. I want to make it either 512x512 or 1024x1025 (for body) but I just have NO clue how to do it ![]() Please someone help me, I am using 3d max 7 as well ![]()

hmm if i understand you right, its just a simple matter of unwrapping the model .. then taking a screenshot of the uvmap - or using texporter and choosing the size.
in photoshop when you are painting your textures you can then change the sizes of the image , using image size.- and whatever values. you can use seperate maps for head and body by unwrapping the 2 sections seperately. |
