Keyframing problem
Hi all
Ive been skinning a character and have been keyframing certain bones moving so that while playing with weighting, i can simply scrub the timeline and see the mesh deform... Well now im onto the last leg, and i'm trying to keyframe the legs in a bent position, and when i turn on autokey and press the key button to set a keyframe on frame 0, it doesnt set a keyframe, and when i click the edit = undo button, it says "undo outline" as you can see from the attached image! Any help and how to get round this would be great... i dont get it, it worked on the leg the first time.. ps. using max 5.1 Thanks Mat...

try using set key mode instead of auto key. That should do what you want it to. Also if you are using auto key, and you drag the time slider to a frame other than 0 then move the leg into a new position it should automatically drop a key at 0 and at the new position for you.
