Animating Cloth

Im making an animation where there are curtains and then they open. I tried doing this by making a plane, and attaching the top vertices to boxes. Then i animated the boxes to move together. When i previewed it in the window, the boxes moved fine, but the vertices that i wanted to attach to the box just floated where the box originaly was and did not move with the animation. Any ideas on how i could do this/fix the problem?

Please reply here or email me at hnbmilk@gmail.com

thanks

if you are using 3DS Max you can use reactor to creat this simulation. What program are you using?
