What keeps you coming back for more,....Here!

Just currious, There are alot of people that belong to Threedy Forums, why do You,I,We,Them,etc.., keep coming back?

Is it cause we feel that we belong, have something to offer or prove, or is it the moderators and the amount of useful information here?

I know why I am here, just wanted to see if the reasons I have for returning from day to day, are close to your reasons!

I am usually here while I am at work.
I see it as a bit of a "social gathering". Bit like down the pub.
Can chat with people with a common interest, and it breaks up the working day a bit.
Sometimes I even talk about CG.

I come here mainly for the critique, and also because I'm kind of insecure when it comes to my artwork, so it's always good to hear some second opinions from people who know what they're talking about. It also keeps me motivated when I'm working on a project and people dig my work. It's probably one of the greatest feelings to have other people appreciate your work as much as you do

. And and for a procrastinator like myself, it's the best thing since, um...sleep?

To LEARN! And, for the company i suppose, people come, people go but its a decent size community and ive tried talking 3d with my school mates and it rarely works. believe me.

Yup, it sounds pretty close to my reasons. One of the reason along with many of the other ones, This community is broad. I mean it is global. Some forums are just in a small group, or a cloysterd one. And if there trying to get up to speed, they screw it up by going too mainstream.

I also like that you can speak honestly here, even criticing! I hate if I post an Idea and everyone likes it. Sometimes you just need to here the truth! It keeps you and your work well rounded!

Honestly I'm not too sure...

We have a decent community, doesn't take too much of my time. I used to have an interest in 3D... so it's nice to check some stuff out from time to time.

I realised that even if I did get somewhere with it, I would get more money if I go to university.

I'll get a stable job and good pay. Two things that 3D will not get you most of the time. I'll eventually want a family and all that, it's a matter of priorities.
