Fog and lighting trouble....
Can anyone help me out a bit with this lighting problem I am having?

it`s either your far attuation is too short.
Or your fall-off needs to be adjusted... also your scene screams for need of GI... ![]() What software? ciao |

Yeah I'm just a new guy at this stuff. Learning the ropes still. I just started about a month ago or so. I made this with Maya 6. Sorry if I sound dumb but what is GI? Is far attuation the same as the dropoff setting in Maya? Thanks for your comments.

not familiar with the Maya setup.....but yeah...attuation means how far the light is spread out.....how far it reaches......
the actual illumination of the light I mean. GI means global illumination.... basically light from all directions at once... there should be a gi setting in your render options. GI creates soft shadows in all areas....of the scene..it creates a realistic real world look..... ciao |
