Hi
I have this problem of getting a deflector for a shirt that my character uses. Ive added a FLEX- modifier on the shirt but I cant make the shirt to stay of the character the shirt is linked to. Theres the dialog for adding deflectors but I cant pick any object based deflector there(for exampe udynadeflector) Im propably totaly on the wrong track, but maybe someone could help me with this. Also the secondary animation I created with FLEX for the "antennas" of my character refuses to work but in wievports. When rendering the result just dissappears. Software is max7 so what could possibly go wrong...?! |

well i use max 6, and there should be some tutorials, if you are having any problems..
flex seems complicated, but it's really not. but, it seems to me that for this instance, that flex modifier is the wrong type of thing to be using, atleast for animation.. it seems to me that you should use cloth modifier, which will make the shirt move in a much for fluid way.. actually, come to think of it, simcloth would probably work better, plus it's free
