Unhappy hairfx : furfx render problems :P

well, i made a head model a few months ago, and went to re-tweaking her head

after making a clone of the head to create the "scalp" ive decided to use fairfx to render the hair ala '80's rock star' look

so before i do so, i started a test render and it came out like :

the problem here is that "U" or "bullseye" like shape on her head...

thinking it might now be that way when i render the full length, i make a re-render...

problem that comes up is a 'bald spot' or clumps of hair far apart in that 'spot'

:P i wasnt able to make a screencap of the last render since my pc died before i opened mspaint and the render took me some 6-10 min.

i'llre-render the last one if anyone needs it

make sure you have checked "render geometry"....it's midway down on one of the shaghair rollouts and its off by default, this could be the problem
