how to make windows in buildings? MAX 5
I created a futuristic cityscape with greebled buildings, various commercial models for the downtown area, etc. However, it looks ok rendered and textured, except it lacks windows. I have no clue how I can simulate windows (see attachment). Also, how can i do a nightshot with lit windows? either one will do (day and night). Please help!
thanks - tex4kkp |

addendum #2
i keep forgetting to post additional stuff, but i think this is the last... I saw a tutoral in the latest 3d world mag, to add lit windows, but that was in photoshop post production. This is going to be part of an animation, so I cant do any still PP.
so the windows would have to be in the model itself. thanks |

I think he said he tried textures already
![]() best thing if your going to animate is make 4 or 5 buildings of your own....with windows then scatter them with enough randomness that they don`t create a pattern like effect. There is no quick way to cheat it...it will take some time ciao |
