White Color

Hello everybody! This may sound like a noob question, how to get the right "white" material? I always end up having grayish with my material.

I also tried self-illumanation but this is not the result that I wanted. Please help.

what kind of white? flat white (alpha map maybe?) or a shaded one?

If you set self illumination to white, it will be pure white no matter what
