Parray (Fire material) "3Ds"
Hey folks,
I just have been assigned to my very first project. It's for a friend of mine. He wants an intro with his company name to put in front of his video productions. I want to let some letters burn. So i setup the parray and wind and make a material. The material does not satisfie me i think. This is what i got. as defuse slot -> gradient, circular, fractical, Red->orange->yellow. as opacity slot-> a mask with 2 circular, fractical gradients in it. with 1 black->gray->white and one black->white->black. Anyway does anyone know a better material setup? Is my wind/turbulance to strong? i got 0,5 strength. This is what i got http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/gouwm/burning.rar I was also looking for a site i found a couple of months ago but lost my favorites , It was a site with pretty good detailed difuse, spec and bump maps of the planets in the solar system. I need a couple of planets to make the scene a bit more interesting.Anyway tell me what you think and what i might need to do to make my flame more real. BTW i never realy worked with emmiters or parray so don't blow me with those profesional words ![]() Thnx anyway

errrrr....
I am not gonna pay for that..... i got this now without paying. testfire.avi just want it improved. I made a collision mesh to form the particles the right way. Is there a spacewarp to pull them more together when they get higher? Cause if i animate the sphere the particles are pressed to the walls in that collision mesh. thnx

You can...
You can add some blur to the effect, select your Parray system, right click and then go to properties...
In motion blur (down/right) select objet, change the value to 2.0 (it may change, depend on your scale) and make sure it's enabled... Then render, it may take a litle more time, but can fix your problem a little... I'm learning how to do fire effects... but mine are not very high... they look a litle irreal I think... Hope it helps you and if you learn how to do your effect better, please tell me ^ ^. I wan't to show you one of my renders... but I've no permission ¬ ¬. |
