Question Globe texture

I'm stuck, need help =)
Anybody, please, explain me how to texture the terrestrial globe? The problem is, that if I just put on the world map, the stitch appeares. Therefore I need it rotating and looking nice.

Help me, save my clients! =)

The stitch will always appear one way or another cos you are trying to put a flat texture on a spherical object,
So i would suggest hunting down a map of the world with the 'seam/ joint area' where there is mostly water so the stitch will blend in and not be so noticable.
