Guinness and God
Just something to do in my spare time. Still have to work on the lighting and background - and maybe add some more detail.
I hope that the general idea is understood, even though it's not obvious enough. C&C welcome as always

Looks good, although the head on the guiness looks alittle large, and the glasses in the background look very small in comparison to the pint glass. I cant really crit on anything more technical, but its making me thirsty so it must be good

i don't like the guinness and the newspaper
i do like the rest though ![]() try modelling the newspaper again, make sure you can see the side of the paper... now it looks more like a folded plastic bag the newspaper should also be less shiny i think, your guinness looks solid, perhaps try a glass shader with refraction set to 1,33 and an absorption filter set to dark brown because now it looks like it does not let any light through, the foam also needs work is guinness foan that white? or is it a little more yellowish keep at it, and i'm sure it'll get great good work on the notebook and the cigarettes btw, i love the coffeestain (could be a little sharper though ) |

Thats really good. Like the idea too!! Would make a good ad. The head of the guiness is a bit too deep and white and i'd agree about the newspaper. Maybe if you could see some sheets apart from the front one?? Still good work tho. Well done.

The head of the Guinness needs a tint of brown to it,also a genuine pint of Guinness has a shamrock drawn in the head !

Tried to improve the Guinness - but just made it worse - note the bit where you can see the ma through the bottom of the glass.
I've added a background - very iffy, I'm npt sure I'll keep it. Tried to improve the newspaper, let me know if I've made a difference. Thanks for all the C&C - keep them coming. GlazyUK - I was told that a shamrock on a head of Guinness was for tourists only.... ![]()

Looks good but I don't really think God drinks beer man, or smokes.

You're right God doesnt drink beer, he drinks Guinness!! Also the Shamrock is a purely "Oirish" touristy thing! The head is still too deep. Colour is a bit better tho. A good head on a pint should look really creamy. Its not foam like in a beer. Maybe try gget a smoother texture to it. I'd ditch the backgound too. Still looks great tho.

I'm not saying that God does smoke cigarettes, or drinks beer. But what if he did?
And the latest - I think the background came out nice - of course it was made by mistake, I was going for a different look, but who cares... The Guinness has been corrected per specs... And just the lighting to sort out and I think that's it. Anything more?
