Vehicle Blueprint Template Setup
Does anyone know how to enhance the display of a blueprint mapped on to a plane/box?. I have tried various formats, (tiff, jpg, bmp etc..) at higher res, but the blueprint looks no cleaner for it.

If you're using max I believe that there is no way to make the blueprints clearer. Of course if you did search for this you'd know that

upping the resolution if the bmp/tiff/jpg wont make a difference. max is set to display a certain resolution for all image files in the viewport.
to change this... goto customize---->preferences the preference settings window opens click on the viewports tab at the bottom click the button that says "cofigure driver" you should see some settings for "background texture size" and "download texture size" they should be set to 512 and 256 repectively by default. bump them up to the max....which should be 1024 and 512 respectively. Restart max the rez should now be higher. not a helluva lot, but enough to make a bit of a difference :P hope this helps
