Max 7 Particle Flow Problem - Not Rendering

I followed Allan McKays Particle Flow tutorial (where a sphere dissolves in nice dusty patterns similar to the Mummy where the anubis warriors turn to dust). Everthng works fine in the viewport, but nothing renders. The particles dont rnder at all. I assigned a red material basic to the particles but they still dont render. Do I have to specify materials inside Particle View events?
Please advise. Thanks in advance!

try turning the particle size right up in the modifier tab. usually the default size is pretty small....so much so that you can't see it sometimes.

i haven't yet used particle flow myself tho...so if that's not the problem then i'm not sure but hope it helps

unfortunately you cant do that... you have to change size in the events.. but i did manage to get it rendered after playin with the settings, but now the problem is that the rendered version does nt match the camera viewport, it seems that its at a totally different angle than my camera/perspective.
what a pain.

change size in the events.....ahhh, like I say I haven't used particle flow yet you used to be able to change the size in the modifier tab.
i recently downloaded allan mckays vids as well tho....so I'll have to take time out to try them soon.

seems strange that your rendering doesn't match the view. you sure you didn't have the wrong viewport selected when you rendered? silly question i know....but I've done that sooooooo many times myself lol

go to the modify pannel of your PFsource and under emmission make sure it says 100% in the viewport and under system management make sure the integration steps are the same.
