URGENT help please!

hi... i am trying to get something finished for the weekend... i have an animation of a character... basically panning around it... with some particle systems in there too... but when i create the animation the picture quality is not as clear and crisp as when i render a single frame? how come? i am using xvid to compress... but i have divx etc on my comp as well... my animation is 300 frames long and i have it set to NTSC... are there any other settings i am missing to get it looking perfect?

basically the way i have it at the moment, the picture looks a little fuzzy...

well, for DivX5 for example, you must click on the setup button to get at the settings. there, you can play around with the bitrate. setting that higher will take up more space but give you a clearer picture.
