ive been learning to model in edge looooopz by order of my friend mr smo. i think its going pretty well, so far its just over 700 triangles.

any guesses who it is? (i know theres one staff member who could get it right off the bat)

May I ask why you have to learn to model in edge loops, i learnt to model with edge loops but I don't know why I had to learn it.

as far as to my understanding, it gives a smoother, more natural look to muscle structures, and apparently its great for animation and polycounts.

the legs seem to have an awful lot of polys in them.

in comparison to the rest of the character, your either going to reach a very large count at this rate ( im thinking those images arent 700 TRIANGLES).

any thoughts as far as what detail you are going to add texture wise? the torso looks bare in comparison, and you still have a head , arms, and hands o go right?

looks cool though

Yup that looks like Razeal alright. Very nice texture work. . . only thing is you should really do something with the model/character to make it yours and not just a copy or even a cheap knock off. You've definatly got skillz, I'll give you that though.

ANYWAY very cool modle and texture you're donning a bang up job on it.

Also there is a better util to count tri's with in MAX, (I know you can use the turn to poly modifer but this one is easier,) it's a plug-in called EPolyCounter by a guy named Juan Martinez. It'll display the count in the upper right counter of the active viewport, all you have to do is hit 7 it get it to display, I install it standard with MAX it's just like a tool I can't live without. Click Here for his site (the plug-in is under the scripts section, or
Clicky Clicky Here to skip Juan's totaly useful site and just download the plug-in.)
