blending

ok, i put different textures on diferent polygons of the same object. Is there a way to make the trasision from one to the other gradual?

you could blend the materials with a gradient map in your material editor, then add a UWV map to fit it on the right polygons.

maybe i coyld do that, but i was hoping for a way that didnt involve uwv
