Another Shiney Car :P

Okay, after the failure of my last project i decided just to have some fun, and maybe learn abit more about poly modeling along the way. So i was thinking about what to model and dedided that a car would be the best thing to do, as there are tons of tutorials on modeling them so if i get stuck i can hopefully find a solution pretty easily.
Im not using and referances because painstakingly following blueprints is not my idea of fun Anyway... here is where i started :

i might add that this is my 1st car and my 1st propper attempt at poly modeling.
just need to upload next image....

You are doing great job!

Your model makes the feeling that the body has the mass that it has... if you know what I mean?

How you do that it displays both mesh and wire?

Ctrl+V with the model selected to copy it, add a push modifier with a value of 0.25-40approx on top of the copy, and reduce the meshsmooth iterations one down from the original and then make a new material with wire enabled, adjust the wire thickness and diffuse colour and then click assign to selection, also you can try adding a relax modifier over the push mod and fiddle around with the values for a tighter fit.
Hope that helps

another update in a minute,....
