applying texture

hey... i have used texporter to save my uv maps and now i am using photoshop to create my textures... now all the parts are on the one canvas... am i supposed to cut them into seperate maps? how do i apply this to my object so that each part wraps the relevant section?

each chunk of the uv map is relative to your mesh.
The uvw map contains co ordinates that are direct from the mesh....so you just paint onto your maps and apply the map as a whole in the diffuse channel....and it will all wrap to the relevant place onto the mesh.....[assuming that if the uvw map needed to be edited and you edited it correctly]
